Shohei Ohtani became the first player in MLB history to produce a 50-home run, 50-steal season in the Los Angeles Dodgers 20-4 victory over the Miami Marlins on Thursday night.

Solidifying his legacy as perhaps the greatest baseball player ever, Shohei Ohtani became the first to pass 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in one season in MLB history. His two-way ability to pitch and hit at an elite level has made him a fan favorite.

If baseball fans are lucky, Shohei Ohtani's greatness in the batter's box and maybe even on the pitching mound could be on display for at least another decade. But in the minds of many, the 30-year-old is already on the shortlist of the sport's all-time legends.
