The iconic Sarasota restaurant, open since 1959, is "closed temporarily" following flooding from Hurricane Helene.

Officials estimated Helene was to blame for at least four deaths: A sign fell on a car killing one in Florida. A tornado killed two in Georgia. A tree fell on a home in North Carolina killing one person.

At 11 a.m. Tuesday, Helene was moving toward the northwest near 12 mph with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph. This general motion is expected later Tuesday and Tuesday night, followed by a faster northward turn to north-northeastward motion on Wednesday and Thursday.
