The museum was a beautiful presentation of the heritage that could be easily shoved under the rug! The trail of tears should've never happened to the Cherokee Indian Tribe! I'm glad they are settled … Full review by OH is H
We are traveling to this area over spring break with our 9 and 5 year old girls. Understanding young children don’t have the attention span for museums in general, should we even consider this one? My 3rd grader has started learning about American history so I think it would be awesome for her. But the 5 year old?? Any input is appreciated!

My son is 6. We have been going since he was about 4. He appreciates the museum. I think your kids will like it.
Do you need to buy your tickets ahead of time? Do the tickets have a specific time on them?
A:
We walked in and bought our tickets at the ticket counter at the time we toured the museum. We didn’t get a paper ticket. I don’t think tickets would be time stamped.
